Kindness of strangers...

In class we were talking about how the kindness of strangers is impacted by different variables. Also, there are different characteristics that change different aspects of how people react to a theft taking place in front of them. Therefore, in class we came up with the characteristics of what can change to make the theft different. For example, what gets stolen, where you steal, that physical apearance of the theif, who's watching, the victim (the relationship  with anyone there, is the victim alone or in a group, the gender, the appearance, the behavior of the victim, the attitude of the victim towards others, age, and the race) and the time of theft.
We had to do our own reasearch in class to see how other high schoolers react to a theft. In class some students that planned the theft taking place cincluded that other students do not do anything to interfere with a theft taking place in front of them. Therefore that teaches us not to trust others with our valuable stuff while we are gone because they most likely will not do anything to interfere with what is taking place right in front of them.
